Andrew is a final year History student at Queen's University Belfast, focussing on the social history of the modern USA. During his time at the University, he has served as a Student Councillor - representing the faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences - and Speaker of the Students' Union Council. A keen debater and public speaker, Andrew has also served as the President of the Literary and Scientific Society, Queen's debating chamber and oldest student society. He writes on history, politics and current affairs for Northern Slant, and moonlights as a steward at the Odyssey Arena and bass player for Belfast-based grunge band Deerstalker.
